  1. Click this button to delete the selected Material.
  2.  
  3. Note: to avoid deleting standard definitions, use this on duplicates of Materials.

  5. Click this button to import a custom Material definition stored in the GDL Script of any Library Part file into the current Material list.
  6.  
  7. Click this button to rename the selected Material.
  8.  
  9. Click this button to create a copy of the selected Material definition for customization.
  10.  
  11. Hint: to avoid changing standard definitions, experiment on duplicates of Materials.
  12.  
  13. Opens the Expert Material dialog for defining special surface characteristics used for PhotoRendering.
  14.  
  15. Click this button to preview any changes you have made to the selected Material using the Apply_Data file geometry.
  16. Note: the Apply_Data file must be installed in the same folder as the ArchiCAD application.

  18. Click this pop-up to define a primary Material characteristic for the selected Material.
  19.  
  20. Examples: Matte, Metal, Plastic, Glass, Glowing.

  22. Double-click this color sample box to select a new color for the selected Material.

  24. Note: changing the color of the Material can also affect Shading colors.

  26. Click in this box to see a preview of any changes made to the selected Surface Material definition using the Apply_Data file geometry.

  28. Note: the Apply_Data file must be installed in the same folder as the ArchiCAD application.

  30. Click this pop-up to select one of the available ArchiCAD Surface Material definitions.

  32. Click Cancel to close this dialog without making any changes.

  34. Click OK to confirm any Material Definition changes and leave this dialog.
